Love Your Body

How do we love our body?
God’s gift to us is the happiness we get from our food and drink, definitely not illness, not discomfort. Foods feels good only in your tongue down to your throat, after it passes through our throat either it gave us nutrients and makes us healthy or discomfort. That’s why we need discipline not to be slave by good taste because it deceive us. Not all food with good taste are good to our body, always choose what to eat. Choose the right food and drinks.
There are people who cannot control what they eat or drink. Avoid too much alcohol, processed and preserve foods. Eating small amounts but often is better way of dieting than skipping meals and eat plenty, it stores fat in our body. Drink lots of clean living water, not distilled water. Water is very helpful. Eat vegetables too. People who eats vegetables are healthy , gentle and good-hearted..Animals who ate plants and works on farms, such as cows, goats and horses are strong , active and vigorous, same as when people eat vegetables and fruits.
Prov 23:2. Put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony. Don’t go and stuff yourself. That would be just the same as cutting your throat. Over eating means over working your body

Have you Tried Ice Cold Coffee with Creamer?

This morning, I came across @AnjaPoulsen’s post that she accidentally invented a new coffee. This gave me an idea what to write this morning. It’s about coffee.
Last Sunday, I and my co officers in our village had our team building to be held out of town and it includes swimming. The team decided to leave at 8:00 am. I woke up early as 4:00 am to prepare food. I was not able to have my breakfast because I been busy preparing the materials needed for the team building.
As we were waiting for other members, I went home for a while and made my coffee which I always add creamer. I put it in a mug with cover and bring it to our vehicle. And while waiting I drink my coffee.
When everything were set including the team, the vehicle moved and I set aside my coffee which I didn't finished and placed it inside the ice box. When we reached the place, the luggage were unloaded and I remembered my unfinished coffee inside the ice box. It’s already cold. My coffee was left half a cup yet. I do not want to waste the coffee, so I drink it.
Wow! What a delicious cold coffee with creamer I have tasted. It’s so refreshing like cold coffee in Starbucks , ha ha ha.

Loving Like the First Time Again

Love is the healer and the reason of a person's change.
Long term relationships are not easy to handle because of the different circumstances that a couple might face.
I have this teacher in National Service Training Program who loves his wife truly. They committed a romantic relationship since they were high school. Now, they are married for 20 years. They're such a lovely couple. Because I am jealous with their sweetness, I asked my teacher seriously. "Sir? How do you make your relationship with your wife stronger?" "I just kiss her everyday and give her flowers every time I get home" he answered. Now I know the secret of their "Relationship Strength". It's never that hard to have that kind of relationship, It just need a couple that treats each other like their brother and sister and love each other like it's always the first time. Courting and Sweetness has no expiration and just because you're already married you exclude the things that couples have before they exchange their vows.

Inside Job of Hotel Housekeepers

Last week, my son got married and it was held in a simple garden wedding ceremony, just a few miles away from the Hotel where we check in for the wedding preparations.
That day before the wedding, my family need to stay there for the pictorials and videos needed as wedding clip for that memorable event.
When we go back to Hotel after the wedding, we noticed that the room was cleaned and all the stuffs we left were arranged. First i wonder why they allow housekeeping staffs entered the room without our concent, besides we have our keys and left the room locked.

Since it was a nice hotel, we thought that employees there were honest. But lately we found out that some of our belongings were lost. The extention cord we used was lost and also inside the other room where the family of the bride stayed lost also some of their belongings, including cell phone chargers, casio wrist watch of the bride, and many more.
The newly wed planed to talk to the management aftet their honeymoon trip. They promised to let the hotel be responsible for the losses.

Reality of beingTaken

Your ex would suddenly want you back. When you're with somebody else, they'll tell you they love you.
They never remembered how they took you for granted because they knew how much and what you can do for them. Don't you remember how you begged him or her for a chance but gave you nothing? Now that you finally moved on, they'd say that they miss you all along.

Like my ex-boyfriend. To be honest, I don't want him back. I think he only wants me now because I'm taken. He suddenly realized my worth. Well sorry for him because I'm finally awake from a beautiful mistake.

Annoying itch on my lower leg

Last Saturday I went to our church to practice our dance for our anniversary presentation. Actually, it’s like an aerobic dance moves, so I need to wear rubber shoes, and of course with socks on it. After a little warm up, I feel itch on my lower leg where the socks grasps, and I lowered my socks and began scratching. It’s was very itchy, and feel good scratching on it ( oohh..ahhh., lol 😊 )
I thought it would be okay, but up to this time. That itchy part is swelling and reddish. If I press the affected part I feel pain. I don’t have an idea what causes this and what kind of medications should I apply. I want to go to my doctor for checkup but I cannot leave because I am babysitting my grandson who is nine months old. Wish I could carry him with me but he is too heavy and I can’t carry a heavy load of 10 kilos
As of now, I’m still observing this itchy and reddish part of my lower leg. I don’t have time yet to go to my doctor.

I really didn't want it

Love isn't something you find. Love is something that finds you. ~Loretta Young~
Yes,I agree with Ms. Young ☺️ My first experience with this love thingy is not really exciting but it created greater amount of consciousness 😊 I had a lot of experiences in terms of breakups 😦 There was this time which I never find a way to find love. I did everything just to ignore it because I really didn't want it anymore. But now I think I can't live without it 😀 hahaha!

What are your love or relationship experiences that you can never ever forget?

Surprise Dinner

I got treated tonight. A friend came by and said he wanted to make us dinner. He's been staying in the cabin down the road from us and has had dinner at our house a few times. His plan was to make dinner at the cabin and then bring it down. He was running late, though, and so I convinced him to make dinner in my kitchen so we could all help chop the vegetables.
It worked out great. I didn't have to figure out what to make and his pasta dish was delicious. The conversation was wonderful, too.
He'll be leaving to go back to the city next Monday. We'll all miss him.
P.S. I couldn't find any photos of pasta. This one came up when I put in the word "surprise."

What I Am Thankful For

With all I did to find the family photo album, to no avail, it would seem like I have nothing to be thankful for. However, that is not the case.
I found things today I forgot I had, and one in particular a very important document - my son's birth certificate. I found books, pictures, and even two Bibles in my quest for the family photo album, and I have most of it sorted for garbage, though not all. The books will find their way to shelves, the pictures to albums, and my Bibles will be added to the shelf containing my other Bibles. Yes, I have many Bibles.
I also got a good workout as I searched through everything. So the calories I ate today won't even count against me. At least they better not. I put in a hard workout in my all-consuming search.
I also got everything cleaned up or at least straightened up so that I can easily take it out to the recycle bin tomorrow. I'm not doing it tonight.
I give God praise for the strength to get everything done.
Thanks for reading and Happy Bubbling.
Time for me to pick up my son and then get to bed. You all have a great day/night wherever you are. His new schedule started tonight, so I'll be up late from now on.

A Cry from a Widow

April 2013 - Ummah Welfare Trust trustee, Shaykh Muhammad Ahmad, recounts a recent visit to the Turkey-Syria border.

Amidst the grief from losing her husband, a widow recollects recent events,

'My brother left home hoping to buy some bread. On his return as he approached the doorstep, a sniper shot him in his leg. I saw my brother lying helplessly in a pool of blood.'
Sharing her story with us, she broke down and sobbed uncontrollably.
Reading the articles in newspapers has been disturbing. So have been the YouTube videos. The feelings they stirred however have not come close to those stirred when listening to this afflicted widow.
Her cry pierced through me, making me tremble. This was the cry of an oppressed widow, for whom the doors of heaven open and the Lord of the Throne responds.
The price for this revolution is being paid for in the currency of blood and human lives; children have lost their parents, women have lost their loved ones and thousands languish in prisons.
Buildings have been reduced to rubble, border towns have been abandoned and hospitals have been destroyed.
During my stay in Syria I began questioning why a nation would be willing to sacrifice so much, simply for regime change.
A young man from Tabaka answered my question,

'Whilst I was studying in Damascus, I started praying Salah and growing a beard due to my increasing love for the Sunnah. I was thus arrested, imprisoned and tortured for five years.'

The regime's sustained assault on the fundamental right of every Muslim to practise Islam and the Sunnah was the last straw in this proud people's patience.
The people of Syria are fixed on this path of sacrifice. Their sons, daughters, properties and lives are ready to be exchanged in order to preserve this gift of Iman which is so dear to them.
Despite the distress, hope was heard from the widow's voice. She spoke of gratitude and relief following the help she received from Ummah Welfare Trust.
We ask to Allah to relieve the situation of the widows and orphans in al-Shaam and allow us to help achieve this in every way possible. Ameen.

Information Technology & Its Role in the Modern Organization

Information technology (IT) has become a vital and integral part of every business plan. From multi-national corporations who maintain mainframe systems and databases to small businesses that own a single computer, IT plays a role. The reasons for the omnipresent use of computer technology in business can best be determined by looking at how it is being used across the business world.

Communication

For many companies, email is the principal means of communication between employees, suppliers and customers. Email was one of the early drivers of the Internet, providing a simple and inexpensive means to communicate. Over the years, a number of other communications tools have also evolved, allowing staff to communicate using live chat systems, online meeting tools and video-conferencing systems. Voice over internet protocol (VOIP) telephones and smart-phones offer even more high-tech ways for employees to communicate.

Inventory Management

When it comes to managing inventory, organizations need to maintain enough stock to meet demand without investing in more than they require. Inventory management systems track the quantity of each item a company maintains, triggering an order of additional stock when the quantities fall below a pre-determined amount. These systems are best used when the inventory management system is connected to the point-of-sale (POS) system. The POS system ensures that each time an item is sold, one of that item is removed from the inventory count, creating a closed information loop between all departments.

Data Management

The days of large file rooms, rows of filing cabinets and the mailing of documents is fading fast. Today, most companies store digital versions of documents on servers and storage devices. These documents become instantly available to everyone in the company, regardless of their geographical location. Companies are able to store and maintain a tremendous amount of historical data economically, and employees benefit from immediate access to the documents they need.

Management Information Systems

Storing data is only a benefit if that data can be used effectively. Progressive companies use that data as part of their strategic planning process as well as the tactical execution of that strategy. Management Information Systems (MIS) enable companies to track sales data, expenses and productivity levels. The information can be used to track profitability over time, maximize return on investment and identify areas of improvement. Managers can track sales on a daily basis, allowing them to immediately react to lower-than-expected numbers by boosting employee productivity or reducing the cost of an item.

Customer Relationship Management

Companies are using IT to improve the way they design and manage customer relationships. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems capture every interaction a company has with a customer, so that a more enriching experience is possible. If a customer calls a call center with an issue, the customer support representative will be able to see what the customer has purchased, view shipping information, call up the training manual for that item and effectively respond to the issue. The entire interaction is stored in the CRM system, ready to be recalled if the customer calls again. The customer has a better, more focused experience and the company benefits from improved productivity.

high school teacher gets 2 to 30 years for sex with students

Utah teacher Brianne Altice burst into tears once again during her sentencing Thursday, when she was given two to 30 years in prison for having sex with three of her students between the ages of 16 and 17.

"I can tell you, unequivocally, that these boys are victims," a mother of one of the three told the court Thursday, The Salt Lake Tribune reports. "They will be affected by this unlawful relationship throughout their lives."

Altice, 36, has sobbed throughout her court appearances, including when she pleaded guilty to three counts of forcible sex abuse in April – in exchange for having 11 other sex charges dropped, including three first-degree felony rape charges that carried potential life sentences.

The former English teacher, who has children of her own, defended herself, telling the judge who handed down the sentence that people have been judging her unfairly for her actions, which included having sex with one of the boys after she'd already been arrested on rape charges.

"If I could, I would personally apologize to each individual that has been affected by this," she said Thursday. "Grief fills my heart for all involved."

Altice's lawyer described her as a woman who was trapped in a bad marriage, saying she is "troubled" and "has problems with viewing her own worth."

"She blurred the lines between being a teacher and a friend," defense attorney Edward Brass said.

He added that Altice was pursued by the boys, who she claims flirted with her daily.

Influence of girls’ attitude performance in mathematics

Attitude towards school subject is very important to learning. Gender bias by society’s stereotyping of mathematics as a male domain, which has often been used to explain females’ lower performance and participation in mathematics (Mondoh 2001). There is a common belief that positive attitude and particular liking for, and interest in mathematics often leads to greater effort and in turn higher achievement (Ng’eno 2005). Various studies on the relationship between attitude and achievement have been done. Fennema & Leder (1990) found that when a gender difference in mathematics achievement in favor of males was observed it was followed by gender difference in confidence in favor of males. The value of mathematics to a female learner can be affected by whether or not she thinks studying mathematics is a sexrole appropriate activity. The value of mathematics to a girl can be affected by whether or not she thinks studying mathematics is inappropriate for females, and then her achievement in mathematics could result in a perception that she has not adequately fulfilled her sex role.
Hyde and Mertz (2009) in their study on gender, culture and performance reported that boys and girls acquire early number concepts similarly in preschool years and performance throughout elementary school is similar. They however noted that the boys’ skills in mathematics increased faster than girls by around twelve years of age creating a significant gender gap in performance in high school. They noted that women are willing and able to learn the mathematics needed for advanced degrees in these areas when provided with appropriate socio-cultural environment along with education and career opportunities. The current study established the differences in teachers’ perception of their preparedness to implement secondary school mathematics by gender.
The prevailing stereotype is that mathematics is a male domain and therefore a very appropriate subject for male students’ achievement. Studies have demonstrated that males attributed success to ability and more strongly than did the females whereas attributed success to effort and luck more strongly than the males (Fennema & Leder 1990). It should be noted that a student who attribute success to ability has every reason to expect success since ability will remain relatively constant however a student who attributes success to luck has no such assurance since luck by its nature is outside one’s control
